The 25th Annual Simsbury Fly-In and Car Show
Sponsored and produced by the Simsbury Flying Club, the Simsbury Fly-In is the largest event of its kind in New England. It’s family-friendly and typically attracts 8,000-10,000 spectators. The 2010 Fly-In will be held on Sunday, September 19 and the rain date is September 26. Located at Simsbury Airport, 4B9, near Bradley International, the Fly-In features a display of approximately 200 beautiful and unusual airplanes and a companion auto show with over 350 cars of all types. Spectators can see the displays up close and talk with the owners.
Also featured are: A skydiving demonstration — Yankee Clippers formation flight team — Professional seminars on aviation topics — A wide variety of new 21st century airplanes — Live music and kids’ activities — vendor displays and booths — Breakfast and lunch — Judging of airplanes and cars with trophies awarded…..
