Traffic advisory systems have become standard equipment in many aircraft. This is for good reason given the high traffic density in most big-city airspace. The traffic alerter market has never been as product-rich as it is today with options for all budgets. Here, traffic symbology as displayed on Garmin SVT (synthetic vision system). It mimics the view out the windscreen helping to quickly spot conflicting targets.

Garmin’s GTS820 TAS/ADS-B traffic system data is displayed on the Garmin G600 PFD/MFD. The GTS820 actively interrogates traffic 40 miles out and displays the targets in TCAS and TAS symbology. When interfaced with the Garmin GTX330ES ADS-B transponder, the GTS820 provides full ADS-B in and out capability. It can display on most popular displays including the GNS430W and 530W navigators.
